Sept. 5: CENTER Online Survey Posted
Dear UUMA Colleagues,
The CENTER Committee is actively engaged in a project to improve professional development opportunities for UU ministers throughout their career. UUA president Bill Sinkford announced in Fort Lauderdale that a portion of the proceeds from the Association Sunday offering in October 2008 will be allocated to promote excellence in ministry. A significant part of this effort involves finding out what kinds of continuing education experiences our colleagues have had in the past and what types of programs would be most helpful in the future.
The survey link below is an expanded version of the questionnaire we distributed during Ministry Days in Fort Lauderdale. EVEN IF YOU COMPLETED THAT SURVEY, we now invite you to share in more detail your opinions and stories about your ministerial career: the experiences that have been helpful and what types of resources would further enhance your professional skills. The online survey will automatically skip questions you already answered during Ministry Days. CENTER will use the results from these surveys to plan future programs.

The deadline for completing this online survey is October 1, 2008.
We are counting on our colleagues to help show us the ways we can promote successful ministry.
