Ministry Days 2025

On the Path of Love

Getting Ready
from UUMA Staff

This time next week we will be in the midst of Ministry Days. We are so looking forward to being together in Baltimore and virtually wherever you are! We are expecting about 450 people onsite in Baltimore and another 100+ folks attending virtually.

We know that this is a busy time of year so we will be sending lots of communications between now and when Ministry Days begins. Today’s email contains opportunities and requests to attend to now. We will send another message later this week with information about the where, how, and when of it all. Please read through materials thoroughly
and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions!

Caucus Spaces at Ministry Days

from Julica Hermann de la Fuente

So many caucuses at Ministry Days! What’s going on? What’s the difference? So glad you asked. In addition to the usual space that we provide for colleagues with marginalized identities, both in person and online, we are also using caucuses for one of our learning track topics: community care. Why? Because we perceive that some of the current challenges we are facing with the rise of fascism are specific to our social locations, and we want to offer space that attends to that and acknowledges it. Also, colleagues with multiple marginalized identities have requested a space that makes room for that and for collegiality across marginalized identities. And finally, we are living into our commitment to do better when we know better, and making space for fat colleagues to also build and strengthen community. Here is a handy chart to help you navigate what is happening where.
