MINISTRY DAYS 2023

June 19-21 ❊ Multi-Platform

Ministry Days Program Highlight: Imagination and Ethical Futures

On Tuesday, June 21st we will be joined by Dr. Roberto Che Espinoza (he/they), politicized theologian and public ethicist, and Erin Law (they/she), somatic movement educator, as we imagine new possible worlds and ethical futures. While Dr. Espinoza will share his ideas on how we can apply liberation theology pragmatically to faith formation and religious education, he will also model how we might do this dialogically by inviting partners in conversation and facilitation. To further develop how we can connect into this work through other ways of knowing, Erin will offer accessible, optional, trauma-informed body-based practices.

More information about our program can be found here. On Tuesday we will be joined by members of the Liberal Religious Religious Educators Association (LREDA) for our programming. We are excited about this chance to collaborate with our partners in ministry!

We will have lots of opportunities for collegial connection during Ministry Days programming and in more informal settings. One of the ways we are offering to spend informal time with colleagues is at the Pittsburgh Pirates game on Tuesday, June 20th. There are two ways to purchase tickets to this game:
  1. Register for Ministry Days and add it as an extra activity
  2. Purchase a ticket directly through our store. (If you want to purchase a ticket for family members please use the store unless they are also planning on attending Ministry Days.)
