Important details for those of you planning on being on-site in Pittsburgh

We are excited LREDA has agreed to partner with us on all events that will be offered during the Tuesday of Ministry Days. In fact, LREDA will be taking the lead on planning the Tuesday onsite game night while we take the lead on the silent disco. For UUMA members who would prefer an outing, you will note the option to register for a UUMA group ticket to the Pittsburgh Pirates home game against the Chicago Cubs on the registration page. (Please note, to ensure we are good financial stewards, we will only proceed with planning the Tuesday night social options if at least 50 people register by May 15. Please indicate your wish to attend on the registration form).

When you register for Ministry Days, you can also sign up for the on-site Healthy Boundaries 101 course, which will take place at the Westin Hotel on Monday, June 19th. This course counts for 6 hours of continuing education in the Ministerial Ethics and Sexual Misconduct Prevention/Professional Boundaries requirement.

We encourage you to make your travel and housing arrangements now. All of our programming will be at the Pittsburgh Convention Center which is easily accessible by all hotels in the GA housing block. We understand as of this mailing there remains a significant housing commitment at the Omni. Know booking inside the block, specifically at the Omni, will help the UUA reach the contract commitments. Also, we are happy to be able to once again partner with the UUA on onsite child care. We hope this will help families navigate child care easily.
