In Memory of Rev Sylvia Falconer
We offer our condolences to the family and colleagues of the Rev. Sylvia A. Falconer who died on July 2, 2024, at the age of 88.
Sylvia is survived by her three children: David, Rebecca, and Curtis; her grandchildren: Sara, Christopher, Logan, and Colby; as well as her beloved nieces, nephews, and their children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Mangan, her parents, and her brothers.
A memorial service will be held at 5:30 pm on November 8, 2024, at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Greeley, 929 15th St, Greeley, CO 80631.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s own choosing, or the Humane Society of Weld County, or CARE International.

I am filled with sorrow, learning of the death of Rev. Sylvia Falconer. Sylvia was a colleague in the 1970’s and 80’s when we worked together on the UUA Affirmative Action Committee. We stayed in touch with yearly Holiday letters for years, and I noted with sorrow that I got no response from her this past year. I hope her last years were gratifying….she was a strong woman. If her memorial service is on zoom, I surely would want to be able to see it.
Sylvia was a strong woman.
