• Community Minister Pre-Retreat: The first Community Minister pre-retreat is happening on March 3rd at 7PM ET/6pm CT/5pm MT/4pm PT. For more information about the retreat series and to register, click here.
   
• Administrative Learning Needs Assessment: The UUMA and MLTS LIGHT program are partnering to clarify your learning needs in the area of administration. Please offer your feedback here. The survey will be open until March 8, 2024. 
   
• Staffing Update: As we navigate many staffing changes, this weekly will be the best place to learn of updates and opportunities.
  • Our beloved Administrator, Hannah Franco-Isaacs, is on bereavement leave following the death of her mother, Rev. Janne Eller-Isaacs.
  • Leave Coverage: We are grateful to the Rev. Dr. Michelle Pederson who has offered to provide coverage during this time.

An open letter to Rev. Darrick Jackson…

Dear Darrick, 

Saying goodbye to someone who has been a part of the family – is simply never easy. So, it is with mixed emotions that we, the UUMA Board and Exec Team, must say farewell to you. Yes, we will miss your laughter and warm presence, but we are deeply excited for you and our faith as you move forward to join the UUA in the position of Ministerial Credentialing Director.

Darrick, superlatives can only convey a small piece of why we will miss you. Your dedication, attention to detail, positive attitude and professionalism have made a lasting impact on the UUMA, and we are grateful for everything you have accomplished during your tenure. 

As you embrace new opportunities, please know you will always have a place in our hearts. We want you to know that you are not just a colleague and coworker –  but a friend and mentor. Your guidance and support touched and changed each one of us, and we are grateful for everything you have done.

Last Call!  MFN Mini-Retreat: Theology of Calling
Help us find 3 more folks to register to make this event happen!  This mini-retreat will offer participants a time and space to explore the personal, professional and spiritual aspects of being called into religious leadership. We will engage in dialogue, prayer, and contemplation within a collegial community of care. Sunday, March 10, 2024 – on Zoom. 6pm-9pm ET/ 5pm-8pm CT/ 4pm-7pm MT/ 3pm-6pm PT.
