Bending the Arc: A Day of Prayer and Renewal

Today, January 20, from 8 am ET time to 8 pm PT UUMA members will be hosting a day of spiritual practice and community care for those who serve, in the spirit of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This will be a chance to join for an hour (or many!) with activities including journaling, lectio divina, movement meditation, song circles and more to replenish your spirit. You can drop in and out or stay for a long while. The full daily schedule can be found here and the zoom can be found here.*

While these sessions will not be recorded, we hope to offer additional spiritual practice activities and spaces for collegial care and connection in the days and months ahead.

We recognize that technical issues sometimes arise and this long day across time zones may mean that a quick response may not be possible. If you need help accessing this event please email the UUMA staff. Thank you for your patience.

We couldn’t have put together this event without the help and support of amazing volunteers – thank you!

We are gathering today to continue to bend the arc towards justice, towards greater wholeness, towards the world we all dream of. We are gathering together for a day of prayer, of reflection, of time with colleagues. We are gathering today as we intend to move forward – together.
