Because we deeply value the care and comfort of all of our members, the UUMA follows the below guidelines when meeting in person.
Community Care Guidelines
As part of our ongoing commitment to community care and shared responsibility, and to making our event as accessible as possible, we ask all participants on site for the Institute in Albuquerque to read and affirm acceptance of our community care practices.
Masking: All participants are requested to mask. We recognize that there are many reasons someone may choose—or need—to mask, just as there are reasons others may not. We ask that all participants who are able to wear masks without negative personal impacts do so while with groups in indoor spaces.
Air Filtration and Monitoring: Each event space will be equipped with air filters and a CO₂ monitor. We will monitor air quality before, during, and after events, with a goal of keeping CO₂ levels below 600 ppm. If levels rise above that threshold, masking will be required as needed, and we will take additional steps to improve ventilation.
