Child Care at Institute

If you need child care, please indicate this on your registration. When registration for Child Care is available you will be notified about the process to register your child/children.

Childcare Reimbursement Information:

Requests for onsite childcare have been such that it makes more financial sense to subsidize families rather than hire for group care and the UUMA is committed to reimbursing as much of the actual costs of care as is possible.  Although we hope our budget will enable us to reimburse all families for the actual costs of care, we will guarantee a minimum reimbursement of $300 (virtual) $600 (onsite) per family. These funds can be used to help support the travel of a family member to the event or to engage a personal child care provider at home or in Albuquerque. The hotel has recommended the following services to help arrange Nanny care: www.hellonanny.com and www.care.com.  

Please let us know how we can support you.  While it is a bit easier for us to reimburse you after the event, we can provide funding in a way that works best for you. We can give a subsidy up front, arrange and pay for a companion flight, work with the hotel for a larger room, or arrange to pay a local provider of your choice directly, you decide. 

You can submit for reimbursement here. Please attach receipts or a statement of costs as a PDF or write an explanation in the notes section. All requests for reimbursement that are submitted by March 1, 2026 will be reviewed.
