Family Care at UUMA Virtual Events

If you need child/elder care, please indicate this on your registration. To support our members to be able to more fully attend our virtual events we offer reimbursement for child/elder care as follows:

Childcare Reimbursement Information:

Although we hope our budget will enable us to reimburse all families for the actual costs of care, we will guarantee a minimum reimbursement per family. These funds can be used to help support the travel of a family member to assist in care or to engage a personal child care provider at home. If you are traveling to a pod to participate in the programming the following services to help arrange Nanny care: www.hellonanny.com and www.care.com.  

Please let us know how we can support you.  While it is a bit easier for us to reimburse you after the event, we can provide funding in a way that works best for you. We can give a subsidy up front, arrange and pay for a companion flight, work with the hotel for a larger room, or arrange to pay a local provider of your choice directly, you decide. 

You can submit for reimbursement here. Please attach receipts or a statement of costs as a PDF or write an explanation in the notes section. All requests for reimbursement that are submitted within 30 days of the event will be reviewed.
