Top 5 reasons to attend the Institute virtually if you can’t come to Albuquerque
- Virtual programming is FIRE: truly we have an amazing lineup for the online programs. Not only do you get the same great worship and keynote presentations as those in person, you get YOUR OWN EXCLUSIVE VIRTUAL PROGRAMMING. You won’t wish you were in the room in New Mexico because these tracks are only for Virtual viewers.
- LOCAL PODS ROCK: Small Groups of local colleagues can create a Participation POD and watch together but still have deep discussions while cooking, playing games or retreating. Get a group of virtual attendees to gather at a local church or rent a place where you can enjoy the camaraderie without the travel. Form a pod using our forum tool today. Being together and being able to discuss and share community can be fuel for the journey. #WeNeedOneAnother
- Sensational Snack Packs Included: You can pick your style of sweet or savory treats to be delivered to your home or office while you virtually participate in the Institute.
- No waiting! Skip the lines: No airports, no long train rides, no waiting for someone to figure out where the conference room is, just open your computer and boom – you are there. Join us with the special team of online presenters and colleagues across the land all together online for a great virtual experience. This and more is waiting for you when you register to attend Institute virtually
- NO FOMO: Everyone has great reasons to attend in person and great reasons to attend online but no one has to miss out. Institute does not happen every year. This is special. Virtual attendees pay less, skip the hotels and travel headaches while also being treated to programming that is intimate, and especially formatted for online learning. We have topics from chaplaincy, healing, slow ministry, feedback beyond shame, somatics and more all just for those selecting virtual tracks. Don’t miss out. https://members.uuma.org/site_event_detail.cfm?pk_association_event=33315

Institute: Where Are you Sleeping?
More than 300 of you are gathering onsite in New Mexico, and almost 50 Virtually, in January for the Institute. Some of you still need lodging and we just opened up more single rooms at the partner hotel – attached to the conference hotel: Hotel Chaco!
Hotel Chaco offers a modern luxury experience with a focus on Native American art and design, featuring a spa and gallery, while Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town provides a more traditional, classic hotel experience with a location in the historic Old Town area, featuring a pool, hot tub, and event spaces. The choice between the two depends on your preference for atmosphere: modern and artistic at Hotel Chaco or classic and historic at Hotel Albuquerque.
Have a room & willing to share?
We know a lot of you want to save money and be wildly inclusive in searching for roommates. Since there are no more double rooms open, we would appreciate folks who have rooms reserved considering sharing. We created a special roommate finder forum – just for you: https://uuma.org/member-forums/forum/looking-for-roommate/ Search and advertise available space in your room and what a great roomie you will be. The sibling hotel is connected to the conference hotel on the other side of the swimming pool. We secured the same amazing rate. Our fee is much better than that of the public so book fast before this grouping of single rooms are gone. Please find someone to share with today!

A song in your heart? A craftivist spirit looking to make art about it? We are creating spaces for Institute participants to make music, play with paper, paint, textiles and more! If you are joining virtually or onsite, we’d love to connect you to our Music/Choir and Art Hive teams. Email Michelle to join in the preparations.
