Whether or not we agree with what they have to say, I hope we can all remember the grave risks that come from police and military suppression of student voices and organizing.
How are you connecting with colleagues? What is feeding your need for connection? Let us know what is working, and not working, for you. We need one another and finding ways to meet that need is an important role of the UUMA.
To use one of my mom’s most favorite sayings, what’s true is that most of us don’t know how our lives will unfold. In the midst of all that unknowing, may we all live lives that lead us to enough, to living lives of abundance and saying yes to life.
As I considered my options, I spotted the opening for a Collegial Care Assistant at the UUMA. I was delighted to be invited to serve in that role. Since July 2022 when I began my service with the UUMA, I’ve considered supporting our collegial care programs as a ministry of sorts – doing what I could to offer collegial care for our members through the programs I was supporting.
